The TechSmith Fuse app does a lot of things. It instantly brings your smartphone photos and video directly into Snagit and Camtasia and uploads your video to TechSmith Relay with the touch of a button. Always Ahead of the Times…
As a cutting-edge tech company, TechSmith has always tried to be ahead of the curve. When we developed the TechSmith Fuse app in the early 90′s, the modern smartphone hadn’t even been invented yet! There was no iOS or Android platforms, yet we were developing for both simultaneously. There was no App Store or Google Play Store, yet Fuse was available for free download onto your phone, which again, can’t emphasize this enough, didn’t exist yet. Don’t ask us how we did it–no, seriously, please don’t ask!–but we worked really hard to bend reality and make it happen. (tweet this)
The early 90′s were a simpler time. Rollerblading was the coolest. 16-bit graphics were mind blowing. And Chuck E. Cheese’s was still called Showbiz Pizza. Ah, those were the days…

Okay, so we actually “leaked” this. You knew that. But we think Fuse is pretty awesome and we want every Snagit, Camtasia and TechSmith Relay user to know about it. Hey, you know what else we “leaked?” Version 1.3 in the App Store, where you can now pause and resume live video recordings. Is “awesomer” a word?
